Public Post: Listening to New York, One Postcard at a Time

Nomad Campaign Vol. 1
Public Post 💌 “Leave a Note. Take a Note.”

What stories are hidden in a city of millions?

Last weekend, Postdawn hosted Public Post, a four-hour guerrilla activation from 11 AM to 3 PM on LaGuardia Place, just beside Washington Square Park.

There were no sign-ups or scheduled participants—only people passing by. Students, neighbors, travelers, artists, and longtime New Yorkers stopped for a moment to leave an anonymous message and take one written by someone else.

For us, the project wasn't simply about exchanging postcards. It was about listening to New York through the voices of the people who shape it every day. Each postcard carried a different story: words of encouragement, memories, hopes, questions, and quiet moments of honesty. Together, they became a portrait of the city itself.

To make each message even more memorable, every postcard was lightly scented with CGS fragrance. Visitors also explored ENTROPY through its vibrant colors, decorating their postcards and turning each one into a personal expression. Stories, scent, and color came together to create something uniquely meaningful.

Public Post marks the first chapter of Postdawn's Nomad Campaign—a series of spontaneous experiences that bring beauty, creativity, and human connection into everyday public spaces.

This wasn't about selling products.

It was about creating a moment where strangers could leave behind a piece of themselves, and discover a piece of someone else.
